I am working on a project and would like to know which is the best for developing a site? Is it better to use bootstrap or stick to CSS coding? I am slightly inclined towards bootstrap but would like to know the benefits of CSS as well.

I prefer Bootstrap because there are numerous advantages to using the Bootstrap framework, the most important of which is that it improves the speed of production and maintenance. It could also be argued that users are familiar and at ease with Bootstrap's standard component design, particularly form elements, buttons, and other interactivity.

Why write code from scratch when you have a predefined class in the code. Bootstrap is much easy to understand and you can create a responsive website or page with minimal effort. Moreover, you will have the flexibility to create presentable web pages when comparing CSS. So, my vote goes for Bootstrap.
